The Council has this week purchased two new Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for the town. The first AED pictured above with the Town Mayor, Cllr Tony Spring, is to replace the previous unit outside of the Town Hall and is already fully operational. The second AED will be installed in a new location, at the Cemetery car park on the outside of the welfare unit. This is due to be operational as soon as electrics can be installed in the next few weeks. These ZOLL fully automatic AEDs will give full instructions to any user on a step-by-step basis so that it can be used by anyone whether trained or not.
