The Town Council is sole trustee of two trusts:
- The Upcott Field Trust is a field gifted to the town for recreational use. It is adjacent to St Andrew’s primary school and was gifted in memory of John Samuel Upcott, Mary Anne Upcott and their son Charles John Upcott.
- The second trust is the Gift of A. Burrows for Allotments Trust which manages a field donated by Alfred Burrows with the stipulation that it is used, in perpetuity, as an allotment field. The trust meets annually and has delegated to a committee made up of councillors and allotment tenants to manage day-to-day operations
