Cullompton Town Council is pleased to announce that, in support of this year’s Autumn Festival, free parking will be provided all day at St. Andrews Car Park on Saturday 11 October. This complements the free parking at Forge Way (Station Road) Car Park arranged by Mid Devon District Council. middevon.gov.uk
What this means for visitors:
-
Parking in St. Andrews Car Park will be free from 00:00 to 23:59 on Saturday, 11 October
-
Forge Way Car Park (Station Road) will also be free all day, as previously announced by Mid Devon District Council middevon.gov.uk
-
The Autumn Festival runs from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm in Cullompton town centre, with a full programme of family-friendly activities including drop-in circus skills, apple trail, crafts, performances, Lego corner and more.
This expanded parking provision is designed to make it easier for residents and visitors to attend the festival, enjoy what the town has to offer, and support local businesses without worrying about parking charges.
Cllr Tony Spring, Mayor of Cullompton, said:
“I am delighted that we can offer free parking at St. Andrews Car Park for AutumnFest. It’s important to make our town accessible and welcoming for families, shoppers and festival-goers. By easing the cost and hassle of parking, we hope more people will come into Cullompton on that Saturday, enjoy the events, and support our local shops and market stalls. This is a small but meaningful way we can help strengthen community spirit and our town centre’s vitality.”
